I should have done this a long, long time ago. I have been using this Post Office for years. You could not ask for kinder, friendlier staff. Always smiling, being helpful and there for a lovely chat, if not completely run off their feet, which of course they usually are! It is a busy area!
Ahmed in particular is an incredible person. Not only would he be very generous and gift sweeties out of his own pocket, to my young daughter, over the years I learnt he is a very good person too, and has done lots to contribute in the community and donates to charity etc. I just wanted to share my appreciation of this wonderful human and that branch of the Post Office generally. Thank you for all you do, and your kindness, and smiles, and looking out for one another in the community. It is so very much appreciated. :) :) :)

Yes, well, we have it here. A Post office slash convenience store all in one. I top up my electric here but if you want a bottle of Polish Vodka to drown your sorrows then that can also be achieved. You've got to pay though, it's only right innit. It's commerce in a commercial world. It is what it is. Don't worry about the vagabonds who hang around on the corner, they won't bother you much, well maybe a little bit. Put your fears aside and just go about your lawful business, that's what I do and I'm still standing so give it a go, you never know do you petal? Don't worry about the homicide rate.

If you grew up in the ends, you know this is the OG post office. I’ve got so many good memories of coming here as a kid with my friends after school, grabbing snacks and just hanging around. I still remember the dad who owned the place giving me a free sweet now and then when I was little. Small gesture, but it stuck with me.
This place unlocks a lot of core memories for me. It’s always been a fantastic post office with great staff and a genuinely kind owner. I’m not sure what the dad’s doing these days, but I hope he’s doing well.
For me, this will always be the best post office in Bristol.
